While things were a bit rushed to fit in the six-episode frame, I was quite impressed. The leads are excellent, especially Marie Domphier, who exudes intelligence, courage and vulnerability.
The scene where Sandra recreates the attack on her colleague stands out, as does the parade. Sandra moves outdoors after a conversation with Paul, only to find herself caught up in the festivities. Someone places a hat on her head, urging her to join the merriment, yet her forced smile soon fades when she spots her partner with his mistress. One of many scenes with superior photography and Ms. Domphier’s expressive face.
Yes, I noticed those shoes. The heels go all the way to the ground, yet are hardly suitable for police work. I chuckled when Sandra finally cast them off on the beach.
While nits can be picked, I will happily watch more seasons (series) of this high caliber show. There are many indications that more is in store for viewers: Sandra’s pregnancy, Paul’s issues, the injured Policeman. Here’s hoping the “mini-series” is just the beginning. I’ll be on the lookout for more performances by the very talented Marie Domphier.

Are you sure that Sandra saw her partner and his mistress during the parade ("the festivities")? She did see them earlier in that episode but I can't recall seeing them later.
