So Red Rock showing in Ireland is almost 30 episodes behind Amazon US?

This is the most baffling series I've ever had to try to track--season-wise.

Of course Amazon US is streaming "series 1" and "series 2" each of which have 80 half-hour episodes for the total of 160.

Now, I'm coming to realize those 160 may be all that exist at present.

I saw there was a Series 3 and Series 4 out there listed on various episode list sites, but on closer inspection, some sites are counting the second half of series 1 as series 2; and are calling series 2 (Amazon's) series 3 and series 4 -- again splitting the 80 episodes into 2 parts.

Whew.

What emerges from this (especially after looking at TV3's iplayer in Ireland) is that in Ireland itself, they are only on episode 53 of the second series.

On Amazon US, we've seen all 80 already!

So TV3 sold the series to Amazon US in its entirety before it ever showed in Ireland itself?

How odd. A foreign Amazon gets the show before the native country does?

And here I was thinking after the Series 2 episode 80 cliffhanger that a series 3 was out there somewhere to be found.

No. It's not, right?
