Really good for kids to see

Considering the hate that the bigots of this world throw at people with gender issues, this is a really positive message.

The recent suicide of Leelah Alcorn (Google it) shows what young people go through when they don't fit social norms, so if this film helps one person, it'll be a wonderful thing.

Is it okay to simply ignore a boy in a dress? Like not treat it as something 'brave' or 'courageous'? In other words, offering neither approval nor rejection just disinterest.

Of course it's ok. Do you comment on a guy wearing pants? Or a girl wearing a skirt? No. Why care what people wear. It's nothing to me. A A human is a human. Gender based clothing is irrelevant. It shouldn't be an issue to any evolved, intelligent human being.

Saying it's brave is counter productive and simply draws more attention to something that should not be treated as anything 'different'.
