What is jerrods job?
I know Maxine is in school so how do they support themselves? I didn't think about it till he criticized welfare but no one on that show works.
shareIt is implied that Jerald has a job (i've never heard him say what it was), his girlfriend has been in grad school up til 2 episodes ago. Her Dad said he was paying rent and utilities and college.

In an earlier episode I think they mentioned something about Jerrod being an amateur stand-up comedian.
"I rope-a-dope the evil with righteous bobbin' and weavin'..."
That would make sense as another episode implied that the girlfriends dad covered the apartment, he would have more free time if he was a comedian, it doesn't explain Joe being home all the time or Jerrod raging on his brother for lack of work effic
