This was actually better than I expected it to be. More than just another pseudo-archeology show or reality survival show, Expedition Unknown actually takes us to some fascinating places and unique situations. The premiere episode deals with the mystery of Amelia Earhart's disappearance, and host Josh Gates really goes to great lengths to look for the wreckage of Earhart's plane.
Well worth the time to watch. Josh Gates is really hot, too!
I enjoyed it as well. I'm glad Josh didn't lose his sense of humor that we saw in Destination Truth.

shareI am sad Destination Truth was stopped but I still think Expedition Unknown is as good if not better though only seen the first season so still catching up.

I agree. I was a fan of DT. However, being a history buff, Expedition Unknown has turned out to be a great show... if not better than DT.
