it'd be great if there was an update

tagged onto the end of the show, about the bones found under the house (at least a time frame for when the person lived, to get an idea if it could be Amelia)? were the remains in the downed plane identified and repatriated?

this show was made months ago, that's at least enough time to know the above

I did enjoy it, I've missed Josh Gates since the end of DT, but I missed Ryder or Jael, and the medic guy, the rest of the crew, I think it loses something when he doesn't have anyone to play off of, other than the witnesses and experts he's interviewing

Could not agree more. DT was phenomenal mostly due to the comradery between the hosts. With this show, Josh is by himself and I feel it's falling short.

Still, it's better than no Josh at all.

I agree, and I'm quite willing to give him more chances, since this was only the first episode

and I love that it's still like a travelogue, regardless of if he's successful at finding answers, for those of us who'll never get to those places or see those things, or try those native drugs ;p

The Smithsonian magazine did a piece on Amelia a few isues ago.
No, they have NOT found her plane or body at this time.

I don't think they will EVER find her body,
so many critters to eat everything up.

That's what I came here to see about. At least give us a clue what race and gender the person was and when they died! If they were native, not Amelia or Fred. If male, not Amelia but could be Fred. DNA test living relatives of both?

I also miss the rest of his old crew, although I think one or two may actually be in the new show, they don't feature those behind the camera anymore but I do recall hearing Josh call out one of the guys behind the camera and it was one of his old crew members from DT but they just don't put them on camera anymore. However, their interaction on DT was always rather funny and enjoyable and I believe helped make the show what it was. I love Joshes humor and the way he has a great time with everything but I really miss seeing his old crew, and yes, Ryder was always a big part of the humor as well :)

Amelia's plane had a male on board (her navigator). I doubt they're under that house though. An update would be nice.
