There was a scene where Frances phone rings and the caller ID just says "J". Robert asks who it is and she just says it's a work thing. Later he changes the locks and just says he had a conversation with Julian. How did he know his name or where/how to contact him? Did I miss something?
shareI believe he says he called him. Maybe used her phone to call "J" back? I thought I heard him say call, but it's been a week since I watched so maybe I'm wrong?
sharei guess she doesn't have a lock on her phone? you would think as someone who is having an affair for a year and who almost got caught when the "J" popped up that she would put one on the phone. and they didn't show him with her phone at any point after he saw the J so i was confused about that.
shareYeah, it appears they glossed over that simply to move the plot along. You'd think they would have some sort of plausible story worked out in case something like this happened. Afterall, he's an art professor and she was opening an art gallery. It's not a huge leap to believe they had legitimate business to discuss. Why would Julian confess to anything to her husband?
