Frances misread Julian

How do women misread men's intentions? She seemed to thin Julian wanted a relationship, but Julian didn't even remember that she has only one daughter (and one son). Julian was not at all emotionally invested in Frances. How did she not recognize that? She's not nineteen. Is it because he makes his own granola? Can a guy who makes granola NOT be a player? He's a true soul, because he makes his own granola?

I think because she was so dissatisfied (maybe just bored) with her marriage that she was viewing him through rose-colored glasses. Kind of how when you're in the honeymoon phase of a relationship everything a person does is amusing or cute. It's not until you really get into the nitty-gritty day-to-day of regular life that you see what the other person is really about.

I've never been like that. I'm a guy. Guys are less like that. I loved my last serious gf, but I mispronounced her name (Meeegan not MegHan) until the third date. We were together 4 years (once I learned how to pronounce her name).

Julian was a predator for women like Frances. Remember during the xmas episode he got punched by another husband of a wife he had an affair with.

he say Frances like prey and pounced on it. Frances was living the fantasy and was not logical.
