Humor was the weakest aspect?

Who else feels humor was the weakest aspect of Kubo? Particularly the banter between Monkey and Beetle. There were a few times when I wondered how the heck the movie could keep a child's attention.

Yeah it was bad. It was humor that they imagined kids would like rather than actually funny
