What was up with all of Durst's burning when he was shown his letter and the one addressed to the police.......I know he realized he was screwed but burping as a reaction?

He was burping before the questions started...just as he sits down for the final interview, he covers his face with both hands and says "excuse me". I thought he was yawning, but he was actually burping.
I know from experience that the burping is from nerves. Often when I get nervous about something, I'll start burping. I don't know if this is common or not, but I totally understood what was going on in that scene. He knew he'd been caught.
