Chromatic aberration, anyone?

Anyone noticed this? pretty noticeable chromatic aberration in many many shots, magenta edges of objects. Since this is usually an undesirable aberration it made me wonder. I loved the photography and camerawork of this film, being shot in 35mm especially, but this aesthetic choice I didnt like at all and it kept taking me out of the film over and over. I wanna think its aesthetic choice because I cannot think a film from 2015 with good lenses got such aberration by accident.
