Yes it was bad

It is as bad as everyone is saying. Most of the acting is super stuff, especially Eddie's. Next to the actress who played Catherine, he had the least amount of emotion.

However...it did have some redeeming qualities. Wuthering Heights is one of my favorite books. I think it has potential to be a good modern day adaptation (all that love drama would be fun in an overdramatic high school setting). This movie is not it. But it had its moments. None of the characters were likable, which worked for me. In the original text, I didn't feel like any of the characters were likable so that felt a little true to the text. And finally Heath was not played by some white guy.

Still I wouldn't sit through it again. It was too painful and all the stiff awkward acting made me laugh. But it had two redeeming qualities. Kind of.
