Sooo bad in so many ways!
When I saw the previews for this movie, it looked bad. However, I find most Lifetime Movies end up surprising me in terms of being a decent "no brainer" waste of time. I am actually more entertained by LM each Sat. than the one star blockbusters that HBO has been airing each week!
Fist off, I wonder how much James Cann got paid for this. Was he throwing the network or producers a bone to bring his star power into this junk?
The actress playing Cathy was nothing special to fight over at all. Her delivery was bad and deadpan.
They needed to build the character of Heath up FAR more than we were given! What did he really do so bad that was out of control? He didn't kill anyone. The fights he got into were protecting Cat combined with jealousy of rich kids.
When Heath was able gain control of the will and household, they should have shown him using his new status in life far more! All we see is him throwing Cat and her brother out of the house and then throwing his version of a wild party!
Too much time was focused on Cat's fall from grace with the popular crowd and dealing with how her mother died.
I can't say I would have enjoyed this movie considering how bad the actors/acting was, but it would have been better if they focused and developed on Cat and Heath's rocky relationship and/or a far more mentally and emotionally screwed up Heath.
