Plot does not move at all. Its funny, crazy situations, some crazy real. Nice commentary on social issues and life. But besides that and some good jokes nothing really happens. Plot didnt move one tiny bit from the pilot. In the pilot (if i remember correctly) he paid for paper boy's track to be in the radio. that's it. thats the only thing that happened plot wise.

Most of the critic reviews are usually after 2-3 eps (shown to them before the public). After 2-3 eps i would say this was really great. Cant say that after the whole season though. Overall its like a sitcom. That means- not a real show. Nothing bad about that, but please dont say this is some great stuff. Its not.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but I think that's part of the show's charm. The main plot of the first season seemed to be Earn's struggle to stand on his own two feet and finally attain some independence. He did achieve that in some small way in the end.
