Does anyone know if Bill Paxton plays Mae's father and who is going to portray her mother? He is the only cast member without a character name and there isn't any actress listed as her mother.

There's also no-one listed as Francis. They may be removing some characters for the sake of the adaptation.

That's true but I don't think that they removed Mae's parents from the film adaptation. They play a really big part in the whole story especially after Mae volunteeres herself as The Circle's guinea pig. I think that Francis is in the cast too but maybe with a different name....!!

I really wish you're right, they may be hurting the story quite a bit if not. Specially for the parents, I wouldn't mind a lot the lack of Francis' character, they may collapse it with Kalden's one.

Yes, he is. Glenne Headly is playing her mother.
