For those who read the book...(SPOILERS)

I just finished reading the book and I had a question. Why does Ty's name change? In the beginning when Annie is talking about The Three Wise Men and Ty, she says his name is Tyler Alexander Gospodinov. At the end of the novel, when Kalden reveals himself as Ty, he hands Mae his license and it says his name is Tyson Matthew Gospodinov.
Did I miss something?

I think it has something to do with the transparency. Implied that the circle had dug up enough of the past to change the present.

You got it. If you're at all into futuristic dystopian fiction, give the book a read. It's got an easy flow.
