Right when I saw the symbol for The Circle I immediately thought of the Westworld symbol. I know the don't correlate but I'm still trying to absorb S1 of WW. Lol. I have selective vision.

Nah, I thought of the maze from Westworld right away when I saw that symbol. I'm fresh from binge watching that show so it's been on my mind too.

Yeah. The maze was my immediate thought.
But the trailer is much more loaded with Apple-esque imagery.

I read the book, and The Circle is like a combination of Apple, Facebook and Google.

Still need to watch it, but that's more like hungry-for-your-data Google wrapped up in the talkative "propaganda" of TED and Apple. And if FB then as means for the people to spread the word. Of course with FB it always have been (tragically) ironic.

I remember thinking I saw something similar on Netflix. Never watched it, but kept seeing the title...but now I couldn't remember what the damn movie was called. So I just searched and scrolled through the available movies and found it... it's called Circle (2015). Doh!
