Tens of thousands of visitors?

So this moron, or the moron producers of this fake idiot show, are actually saying that this mine in the middle of BFE is gonna attract thousands of visitors? LOL what a joke.

reply

Right. Hey guys, let's go deep down into a century old mine that we have no idea how unstable it is after so long. Its not like mold or anything toxic could be in the air. This isn't even mentioning how long and arduous it is to even get there.

Sounds like fun

Not to mention how those thousands of people will be transported to the mine entrance -- by helicopter, four at a time? Absurd.

It's really the most absurd plot line ever for a reality show. An old mine high in the mountains of Alaska has literally zero appeal to 99.999% of the population yet they are saying that tens of thousands of people would come visit? Not just transporting them there but where would they stay? There are no hotels for all these people and where would they all eat? It's so incredibly dumb but it's like the producers of this crap think people are actually stupid enough to buy this bunch of nonsense.

reply

Well, building a hotel is the next logical step in Neil's Grand Master Plan to make money off the mine.

building one hotel is not enough for tens of thousands of visitors. Considering the weather they might have a 4 month season at the most for people to visit that is 120 days. Even if they get ten thousand visitors and not tens of thousands of visitors that comes out to 90 visitors a day which would mean you need a minimum of 45 hotel rooms. Now consider that most visitors would come in the middle of the season and mostly on the weekends you are probably need 125 rooms to accommodate people. There is no way Neil could build a 125 room hotel that anyone would want to stay at.

Not to mention that Jeremy looks and speaks like Charles Manson and Neil is like mr. Burns. It's straight outta some movie. Everything about this show annoys me. I don't look at this as a reality show, it's fiction and absurd. Especially when discovery plays the same lame commercials for the same types of shows with awful music during the breaks.

not to worry..... Neils grand delusion might be the storyline of late, but it won't last. One or two of his investors will pull out....end of story line. Back to square one and Neil will come up with some other money making scheme to piss off the residents....LOL I'm waiting with baited breath....LOL

reply

That last conversation Neil had with an investor was hilarious, and so unrealistic. "I can't send you any video. You'll just have to trust me!"

Anyone who would invest one thin dime in Neil and his delusions has to be as mentally unstable as he is.

Why didn't he just record what he could actually see? That way he could show how far he actually got instead of just saying 6 guys saw me do it, trust me.

reply

LOL I can't send you any video but you can just watch my phony reality show in 6 months.

Neil is a delusional maniac.
We can only hope he goes into the old mine and never comes back.

I'm a little ashamed to admit this, but I was kinda hoping Niel would find that elevator shaft. And fall down it.

He is like everyone's worst Grandmother nightmare!

"I know you don't like it, but it is good for you. Open Up."

"Reality" shows have "s*** in their own nests" by refusing to insist on strict honesty. Too often they're aimed at "entertaining" the audience, regardless of how much the truth is twisted out of shape -- or outright fabricated.

Nevertheless, I'm surprised at how many people say "Oh, this program can't possibly be true. It's complete baloney from beginning to end."

The fact is that McCartny already attracts tourists. Neil is trying to expand on what already exists.
