I just recommended it to some friends.

Not too sure about that. Only the kids were raptured. There should be adults gone as well.

And anyway, you have to be suspect of Hollyweird's take on things. I don't think it will be as off-target as the reboot of "Left Behind" (that was awful) but still...

A History Channel special is hardly a product of Hollywood/Weird however you wanna say it.

C'mon, RRR, you can't expect everybody to worry about facts when they're crafting what they think is a witty retort.

Maybe sam thinks that Hollyweird is in Canada, and is the antithesis of Hollywood, a Bizarro Hollywood, if you will. In which case, sam's post is actually praising the integrity and honesty of Hollywood (Bizarro Hollyweird?).

Despite being shot in Canada by a Canadian production company, I'm sure sam didn't mean to impugn an entire country's film and video industry, like so often happens in the US. Did you, sam?

I have only seen day one but recorded day two. So far, I liked it. For this to conclude in two hours I am sure a lot will be omitted, like the two witnesses in Israel (Moses and maybe Elijah), and I have a feeling Jesus will not be the hero to save the world from utter destruction, even though the Bible says that. No doubt the ending will be rushed and un satisfying, but I hope not. I will find out tomorrow.

So, I guess the entire Jewish religion is...the wrong one.

And the "End Times" final acts only take place in what is
left of the USA. Canada is just screwed, as is the rest of
the world. Not even mentioned, IIRC.

I found that utterly laughable (along with a lot of other things about this sad interpretation of the book of revelation). Considering the theater of end times is in the old roman empire which is Europe and the Middle East and so forth.

The point of view from a news reporter schooled by a bible scholar was also problematic.

History channel should stick to history and not futuristic predictions.
