I know good movies about Indigenous of the Amazon:
Emerald Forest
End of the Spear
Birdwatchers.
But none of them can be compared with this one. This one is unique.
"Emerald Forest" is the amazonic classic
"Cabeza de vaca" is the most similar but in mexico
"Even the rain" most contempory in bolivia
"Maïna" is 100% indian in the north
"Aluna" has a message from columbian indians
"Little big man" is the classic for the north
"A man called horse" is similar in the north
"Avatar" is the most metaphoric
"The new world" is the first meeting
It's like Dead Man meets Apocalypse Now, with a bit of Aguirre/Fitzcarraldo thrown in.
