So far...

so good.

Fans = 1.

Detractors/haters = 0.

But we'll see whether that remains the same or changes...

I don't know what's a sig. line? Can't think of one! Can you tell me what one is?

Put me down as a detractor, I'm not really liking it.

Of course I didn't like the original version of this when it was called the tonight show with Jimmy Fallon.

I don't need or want my hosts to be fawning over guests or praising the heavens at their own unlikely stardom. Nor do I need them to do amateur song and dance numbers, weak skits, or party games.

Give me David Letterman recounting a true story from his own life during the B block, and I'm good.

I'm glad they're dumping all the new craze Fallon nonsense into this show. Maybe that will free up Colbert's new show to stay classy.

I agree, this is CBS shoving how low The Tonight Show has become back in NBC's face. At best I hope TLLS trumps Seth Meyers who is trying to be a normal talk show.

Yet I fear that the millennials' have the attention span of a gnat, and I'm too old to watch late night TV with compelling interviews.
