Better than the First

I thought the story line and characters were more interesting than the Chrismas Kiss 1.

What are you gonna do? Kill me? Every body Dies. John Garfield (Body and Soul)

Just started watching the second one, but I've seen the first. Weird that Elisabeth Rohm is in both but plays different characters. Cheesy romantic Christmas comedies for the win, though.

Huh? Too much eggnog? She played the same character 1 year later, now wiser. She learned her lesson. She references Christmas a year ago at least 4 times in the movie. It was part of this movies charm, and also the carolers make another appearance. Cute update, enjoyed it, but liked the first one better due to Elizabeth Rohm's delicious evilness in the original.

What threw me off was that this site lists her character as Mia... and then I realized the guys sister was Mia and I didn't remember hearing anyone call Elizabeth Rohm's character by her name (half paying attention and all). But with the hints I wondered if was indeed playing the same character. I wonder if they're going to attempt to tie in a third version.

I would love that. I was hoping that maybe #3 would be Mia getting another chance with her first love, but I guess not.

Yup, I like her nastiness. I would have fun playing that character.
I like the original but really wish he wasn't dating someone when he kissed her...I hate that whole cheaty aspect. Ruins a cute movie.

The second was more fun but the characters weren't as cute.

I liked the first one much better! Elizabeth Rohm had a bigger part and played the evil boss to the hilt. Also, I really enjoyed Laura Breckenridge in the first one!

Plus I thought the love story in the first one had more time to develop and was more realistic.

I think both of them were great in their own right!

Just watched this one and definitely did not enjoy it as much as the first. The acting kept throwing me off. I loved Laura in the first and the original characters so much more! One of my favorite things about the first movie was the supporting characters like her friends and the people working for the theater. This one just lacked the Christmas feel in my opinion. Other than decorating trees, poinsettas, and mistletoes... But I love these kinds of movies at times, and still somewhat enjoyed this one too.
