Like the usual typical syfy shows you see. Everything so far about Krypton looks like generic space faring adventures with some kid and having British accents. Like that re-imagined Battlestar Galactica show called Caprica but instead here it's slapped with the based on DC character remark. Even more hilarious how Adam Strange blended in with his Earthly clothing without anyone batting an eye.

The part about warning about Brainiac by Val-El and Adam Strange. Why not just prove it to the Kryptonians instead of just telling them some alien life is coming? Instead Val-El spoke like a heretic who smeared god and got killed for it along with Ter-El and Charys-El.

It has been fairly consistent that Krypton's ruling council (which has had several names over the years.) is very obtuse. They often deny evidence and suppress those who challenge them.
