shareYup, what a let down. I don't need blood, gore or even too much action. I can appreciate the metaphors in this film and the tension that it held. But there were a lot of elements that seemed to lead to nothing and the ending was a disappointment. It felt so much longer than it was, because it was boring. Some beautiful cinematography, good acting, an intricate period of history to expore... but all for what? That's how I feel about it. I want to watch A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night though, I think it looks more creative and gripping.

...my point being that there are other reasons why people won't enjoy this film, as horror fans or otherwise. If anyone else bothers to read this, I really should have saved time and said avoid this boring movie like hell.
