I personally love movies like Babadook and The VVitch.Will I enjoy this ,and is this scary like the movies that I have mention? I really love to see a good horror film with creepy atmosphere and good performances. I Avoided the trailer, can someone help me???

If you like the two films you mentioned I think you will love this.
It certainly bears similarities to Babadook but personally I enjoyed Under The Shadow more.
Personally I felt is was miles better than Babadook and most certainly the Witch. This movie is more closer to Babadook though although this one doesn't feature an annoying kid and I felt the ending was better (but then again I did not like the end of Babadook)

I saw the movie guys thanks for the comments. I liked the movie it was indeed like the movies that i have mention, and especially a suspenseful horror film, that for me it was a bit slow in the beginning and I didn't care about the war in the background very much,but the third act scare the *beep* out of me and the mother gave a strong performance.

The Witch is the best horror film in years but it's better than The Babadook. Of course, Netflix is having issues adding it... What else is new
shareYeah it's better than Babadook mainly because the child isn't a screaming terror driving hes mother to the mental ward.
shareI definitely agree and I like The Babadook very much. I know both films were of very much similar themes but the subtext in UTS just came together with the film a bit better IMO.
