Save Your Money

If you must see this low budget turkey save your money and check it out from the local library or use your Netflix account if you have one already. It had some glowing reviews when it first came out but after watching some clips it did not look that good. After viewing the entire movie I realized that Hollywood takes care of their own. Lily is the industry's Golden Girl lesbian emeritus and they give her good reviews to keep her in the spotlight even for a bad movie. She basically plays herself, an angry old foul mouthed lesbian. It's laughable to think her lovely young strawberry blond girl friend would be smitten with prune-faced Lily. The rest of the film is a curse fest for old Lily as she visits with various characters trying to raise money to help her granddaughter. We even get to see a transsexual Negro tattoo artist! It's a movie I feel would only appeal to angry old foul mouthed lesbians.
