Lara hates Wendy

She hates Wendy because she feels Wendy has the inside edge on Axe. She feels Wendy has the power to manipulate and influence Axe on just about anything. And the funny thing is Wendy knows that Lara is weak and needy and really lets in sink in that she is the one who made the decision to not see Axe on the job.

Lara is supportive of her husband but it looks like she is totally fed up with the lies Axe keeps feeding her about his decisions, especially those involving Wendy.

Well, I'll be the first to admit I don't really understand this series, or the characters, but I think Lara's dissatisfaction with things began when her business deal fizzzled and she lost her illusions of being in Bobby's world, at least as an equal. She was humiliated.

Did you understand the comment at the end about Appolonia and the car bomb or something? And what was all the talk about Tom Cruise and Ed Harris - I didn't realize they were in a movie together ... "The Firm" I guess which I don't really remember.

Wendy admitted she did that on purpose, because Lara was being smug about her marital problems with Chuck.

Lying is the one big no-no rule Lara has with Axe. She pretty much lets him get away with whatever else. I don't think that was something Wendy was aware of. She felt bad about it later, which is why she went to talk her into coming back.
