Does anyone actually have sympathy for Chuck?

The guy is a complete maniac. Running a federal office with a vendetta, for laws that shouldn't even exist. I truly don't understand how people can sympathize with his character or agree with his actions. He's a corrupt government official that does what he pleases with his office, fulfilling personal vendettas and furthering a career in politics.

Axelrodd is just a normal hedge fund manager, if anything he's more noble than most. I don't see what he's done that make him deserve it. I don't even understand why people were mad at him for trading while the towers fell.

This show makes no sense watching believing Axelrodd is the criminal. None whatsoever.
