started off okay, got sucky as it went along. That showdown at the end was terrible.

Felt the same about the first 3 or 4 episodes of season 1 too. Once the pieces started coming together after around Episode 4 (after which I almost quit watching) - I'm glad I stuck around.
I'm hoping this first episode of Season 2 does not set a precedent for the rest of the season. But, I gave season 1 a chance, it paid off. And I'll give season 2 a chance.
Agreed but it's still entertaining enough. The unintentional comedy keeps me coming back.
