Isn't this just a remake of the French movie Heartbreakers?

No, "Heartbreakers" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0125022/ (Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sigourney Weaver, Jason Lee, Ray Liotta, Gene Hackman) was a remake of a French movie.
(And "Bachke Rehna Re Baba" is the Bollywood remake of "Heartbreakers", but that's not important to this topic.)

There is a 2010 French film "Heartbreaker" (singular, not plural) that "The Matchbreaker" is a remake of.

Sorry for my miss typed spelling of the title, but my reference to the title being French would indicate my intention regardless of semantics.

Thanks for pointing this out. I read the synopsis and quickly reminded me of the plot of 'Heartbreaker' and was curious to see if anyone else noticed because credit should be acknowledged. Besides the other guy who doesn't seem to know what he's talking about and sole aim was to be confusing and spurt out excess information, you were in the right from the get-go.
