Animal abuse?

Amazing film overall but I was shocked by the one scene where Krisha violently grabs the head of her dog. The dog appears to be okay afterwards but iunno, it seemed like borderline abuse. I mean, actual abuse of the animal in real life, not as part of the movie. In my opinion anyway.

That stuck with me too. That poor little dog was so confused.

yea that was definitely a questionable scene. As a dog owner, I found it a bit disturbing. Krisha really did come off like a monster. Almost like female Michael Myers

It's certainly a shocking moment but it seems like the dog is perfectly fine and that he couldn't have been hurt too bad.

I was concerned in that scene too...then I thought maybe they spliced the film....maybe they shot a scene of her playing roughly with the dog, then put in her moment of being angry. I would think the animal rights clause would be questioned , if in fact that scene was truly the way we saw it.
