An ambitious but somewhat flawed comedy

While mostly known for his work on the American Pie films, Jason Biggs has spent most of his subsequent career in supporting roles, most notably in the acclaimed Netflix series Orange Is The New Black. The newest feature Amateur Night, co-written and co-directed by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse, sees Biggs play Guy Carter, an unemployed architect whose dire financial straits on the eve of his child’s birth causes him to take a job driving prostitutes to their destination. While having some good elements and starting off in promising fashion, the movie’s attempt to do too much and merge all its disparate ideas together ultimately proves to be its downfall: http://www.cutprintfilm.com/reviews/amateur-night/

thanks for the review.

This sounds slightly similar to "Night Shift", at least in premise.

Hey, uh, Chuck? Your headline says this is “ambitious but flawed” but your actual post only roughly outlines the narrative and says JACK SQUAT about neither ambition nor flaws. In short, your post is useless.

A LINK is NOT A POST. I’m not clicking on your freaking link. I’m not adding hits to your pathetic, from-mom’s-basement website.

Or does your “ambitious but flawed” topic headline refer to
YOU?
