I don't care how close we were, if I entered your home and it looked like that I would leave. And hope the best for you. Also, was the apartment a pressure chamber? It seemed to suck everyone in when they opened the door...

Also, what was with the floor in the hallway outside the apartments? It looked like it was in a long abandoned building, with planks all dried out and coming loose. Totally out of character with the rest of the place.

Exactly! Who would see that and then proceed to enter? Going deeper and deeper into the apartment where the wall and floors are covered in slime and egg like things dripping and sliding.
