liked the idea, the concept.. hated..

..the poor execution. terrible direction, even worse actors with lame dialogues.
and there were some pretty bad story parts, especially when it came to how people were behaving and how they were reacting to the events. most of all ofc the main protagonist.
well a real pity, i think it could have been a nice little indi horror flick

The characters were unbearable. The decisions they made were incredibly stupid. From the beginning the main girl annoyed me. First, her refusal to dump her fiance, and then her refusal to see a doctor. I didn't feel bad for her at all. Just kind of a pathetic character.

Then, I couldn't stand her fiance treating her as if she was crazy and making things up when she said that his mother hated her. Idk why, but it was so stupid to me. The blonde friend was clearly after the fiance from the beginning, and her little side plot was stupid.

I couldn't get with the characters carelessly moving through her terrifying apartment, even with the smell, slimy eggs and webs everywhere. Her asian friend saw a huge glob of bumpy slime moving around on her recliner and she hardly blinks. She just sat there. Then she decides to get freaked out when she finally sees Casey's face. I will say, hers was the only character that i felt sorry for in the least bit.

I still thought the film was ok. The whole thing with the bug bite turning her was good. It definitely had nasty, horrifying, creepy effects. I liked that a lot. 5/10.

I felt the same way, right down to the score. I thought the directing showed potential actually, everything else about it was pretty weak but the gore. Although it wasn't as gross and icky as I'd been told to expect, it was still well done in a few parts.
