Contracted?

I'm just saying...

It doesn't stop there, there was another film I saw with the same premise/plot called Thanatomorphose (2012)

Between Contracted and Thanatomorphose I've seen enough rotting away by far, but I'll prolly watch this flick too due to the fact that the internet's been really dry lately in regards to horror films.

Contracted was better than this. This has good grossout fx, but not enough of a good script.

I actually preferred Contracted: Phase: II over the first film. This film had a bad script, but the FX managed to make up for it.

In the end I think they all fall within the same basic 5-6/10 range. Not spectacular, but a decent enough watch for the horror genre.

Phase II sucked hard compared to the first one. They didn't even tried with this one.

I wrote down both these movies as I was watching this, and even commented on my paper that Contracted was better. Great minds that have seen far too many movies do think alike.
What I thought was two fold past that: 1)I thought the makeup on the woman was pretty jarring, not unlike Contracted and the other, and 2)I also had a part I could not understand: If a fish bit her, and she mutated into a fish/amphibian woman or something and laid all those eggs which could sustain themselves out of water, that is sci-fi fare. How did the WHOLE apartment get redecorated though, and why did the mutated fish eggs become flying creatures.
It would be interesting if this got a sequel.

reply

Because it was a water borne mutated mosquito infected with irradiated nuclear fuel spilled into the river from the nuclear processing plant buried deep in the rainforest to hide it from prying eyes lol

Seriously didnt you see the end it was a Mosquito and her stinging tail - mosquito dude thats how they spread Ebola even although the eggs looked a bit fishy but if you google mosquito culex egg raft they look the same as the ones in the movie!

Its uncle Frank Kirsty!
Its time to play!

That seems "reasonable", so thanks.

Thanatomorphose and Contracted Phase 2 were both great. "Thana" being a pretty full on

This movie reminds me of a cross between Contracted and The Fly.
