I just finished watching all six episodes on Netflix in the US. It was so refreshing to watch a cop movie that was not full of violence but more character driven. I cried at the end with joyful tears. Well done!

Agreed. I thought it was wonderful. Stellan Skarsgård and Nicola Walker are stellar. I have seen Ms. Walker in Touching Evil and MI-5. She had me hooked before she finished the disco song in the opening scene. Before I knew anything of Stevie and River, the chemistry between the actors caught my attention. These two are so good--and so good together--that it was easy to overlook any minor problems. I hope Netflix acquires more series with Nicola Walker.

Thank you for the heads up. I'm going to start "Touching Evil" now. On my Roku box it's on a channel called "Acorn TV". For those in the states, it is British television. ;-)

Wow, I'd forgotten that Nicola Walker was in "Touching Evil." Somehow I only remembered Robson Green. 

I subscribe to Acorn TV as well as Netflix, so I'm going to go back and watch some eps of TE after enjoying Ms. Walker's wonderful performance in "River."
