Where (anatomically) was Stevie shot?

I understand that the bullet exited the back of "Stevie's" head, but where did it enter? Under the chin? Through her mouth?

River mentally edits it out, I think. As best I can recall, we don't get an objective view, like from a security camera or a morgue photo, of what her face looked like afterward. So I think the reason we don't see the entrance wound is that he can't bear to see it again.

I mean, why not just "Snuffcarcass"?

In one of the final scenes of the last episode, though obscured by shadow, it appears the entry wound was in forehead above the right eye.

Wow, nice catch, I did not spot that at all! And this was one of those rare shows that had me really riveted on the screen.

Maybe I couldn't bear to see it either.

Upper right forehead, just below the hairline. It is evident in the final episode when River "re-lives" the shooting and cradles Stevie in his arms.

Certa Bonum Certamen

Which could also have been a bruise from hitting her head on the tarmac as she fell.

Yes I saw that blood spot flash by ...wondered if that was entrance hole....or just blood/bruise she hit pavement.
I always assumed it really came in though her forehead and just for less gory makeup they didn't show the entry...or as someone says River edited it out of the manifest. Strange but good film.
