so...the necklace had a malediction thing ?

hi,

it is funny, but it is also a different point of view of the movie :

once the girl give up her christan necklace to the other ill girl (the non-believer one with cancer), the other girl died and the first one got lucky !

so i guess the christan necklace is bad....
maybe the first girl got sick because of that necklace or religious devotion....

Once the second girl got the necklace and maybe a little christian faith, then she died !

what a irony !

Great insights, usa-mike!

I believe that ironies like the ones you point out are caused by God. In my opinion, God influences ungodly filmmakers who pretend to be making Christian films to make Freudian slips that show their true colors and therefore prove to all viewers that their films are evil and of satan.

Of course, the fact that this film is an evil work of satan is plainly evident to anyone anyway, by the fact that the mother and her eldest daughter both take the LORD's name in vain, which is grievous blasphemy that Christians would not do and that a Christian film would never dare to contain.

good point, but i think the explanation is different. (don't forget it's not a usual SF film with its twists; it's supposed to have happened for real). for us, people, death is the most horrible thing. the fact that the girl died is beyond horrible. but maybe God has other plans, so her death was unavoidable, but the necklace was just a thing that made her at peace with her fate and with God. she sadly couldn't avoid the end, but at least she died peacefully.
