It just stood out to me only because it's a Christian movie
This most certainly is
not a Christian movie.
she's Christian
No she's not. She violated the third Commandment multiple times. A Christian would not do that. And the oldest sister also violated that Commandment; a Christian mother would not raise her daughter to do that either. Nor would a Christian film dare to contain such blasphemy within it.
In addition, her "big speech finale" has
nothing whatsoever to do with Jesus or with God the Father or with the Bible. It's a generic Joel Osteen-style (that is, completely non-Christian bunk yet masquerading under the
pretense of Christianity) motivational talk meant to apply to any god, and meant to apply to and endorse the current lifestyle of any viewer, no matter how ungodly (meaning, it promises no need for repentance from sin nor obedience to God...all of which corroborates not only that she is not Christian, but also the first point, that this is not a Christian film).
There are a lot of additional reasons I could add about why this is not a Christian film, but I've done that elsewhere on this board and this post would go on forever if I did it here too. Suffice to say, the content of this one post is only barely scratching the surface of why this film is an abomination against God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible.
