Mom/wife seemed to be head of the family

It just stood out to me only because it's a Christian movie and husband is head of family but it was the wife who took on that role. She spoke At the church, took charge in taking her little girl to see specialist and basically took care of it all while the hubby stayed home to play housewife and worked. I don't mind, dont care but it seemed surprising because she's Christian is all. Oh yeah and also when she took it upon herself to pray hard to God on that tree and her husband followed suit.

Out of all christians, not many believe in that "head of the house" baloney. That's mostly just the fundies who have chosen to focus on certain verses while ignoring others (as fundies tend to do).

There is no such thing as "fundies" Dali. That's just a meaningless slur that people who love evil make in order to express their raging hatred against godly persons.

I take it you consider yourself a fundie then?

That would be impossible, because, as I said, there is no such thing as "fundie"..."fundie" is just a meaningless slur that people who love evil make in order to express their raging hatred against godly persons.

Sounds like you suffer from the raging hatred against righteousness and godly persons of which I spoke previously. Thanks for proving me right! 

Lol!!!!!! They walked right into that one! And thank you for your sane post! It's not a good look when most posts are from extremists who judge too much and listen too little, it gives us all a bad reputation.

it gives us all a bad reputation.

What does "us" mean? Fake Christians who support rather than oppose evil?

Secondly, you seem to be complaining about your "reputation" among the ungodly. Godly people do not care about that. They care only about their reputation among God. You attacking godly people to win favor with the ungodly does not bode well for your reputation among God.

This most certainly is not a Christian movie.

she's Christian

No she's not. She violated the third Commandment multiple times. A Christian would not do that. And the oldest sister also violated that Commandment; a Christian mother would not raise her daughter to do that either. Nor would a Christian film dare to contain such blasphemy within it.

In addition, her "big speech finale" has nothing whatsoever to do with Jesus or with God the Father or with the Bible. It's a generic Joel Osteen-style (that is, completely non-Christian bunk yet masquerading under the pretense of Christianity) motivational talk meant to apply to any god, and meant to apply to and endorse the current lifestyle of any viewer, no matter how ungodly (meaning, it promises no need for repentance from sin nor obedience to God...all of which corroborates not only that she is not Christian, but also the first point, that this is not a Christian film).

There are a lot of additional reasons I could add about why this is not a Christian film, but I've done that elsewhere on this board and this post would go on forever if I did it here too. Suffice to say, the content of this one post is only barely scratching the surface of why this film is an abomination against God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible.
