What kind of ending was that??!!

Just finished watching it and what I thought was odd was I did not realize this was a different country. The father of the coma girl had an Irish accent, the girl he was chasing had an American accent, the boyfriend had some kind of accent, the mother had an English accent and the two who wanted the baby had American accents. I must have missed something in the beginning. In the end, I actually enjoyed the movie !!!!!
