Beth's character is over-the-top unrealistic

I just finished the first season. This woman is the most reprehensible character I think I've ever seen on TV, and only on TV will you see someone this bad cause no one is like this in real life. Every single word out of her mouth is some type of insult. I have no idea what she's been through, but many people go through major shit and don't act like that. Her character makes no sense.

Plus, these must be the most toxic people I've ever seen. How the hell did they get this far in life with this much turmoil and strife. It doesn't seem possible. This writing is extreme just to create extreme drama for TV. Every single scene is someone in contradiction with someone else for whatever reason. Not a single shred of happiness anywhere.

But imma keep watching.........

What is most underealistic is that she gets almost zero opposition. No physical consequences. If you verbally abuse people as severely as Beth does every 5 minutes people will fight back.

Your charges are accurate, but face it, if she wasn't over the top cartoonishly reprehensible, then what would be the fun in watching?

Do you live in a cave ?? Or the very top of the Castle??

I've many women just like her

Spoiled to the max, especially after the death of her mother --- Only girl in the family with 3 sons --- Rich, grew up not wanting anything --- AND smart

Throw in some BS Feminism and you get a woman like BETH
