You missed the point by a country mile. One becomes a sex offender by engaging a prostitute. The fact that the girl was of age was irrelevant; the fact that she charged money for sex, and he paid, was what classified him as a sex offender.

One more time - her age had nothing to do with it. Paying for sex is what made him a sex offender. Check the law and you will see I am right.
shareI disagree... I do think he took advantage of her. A 40+ year old man is much different developmentally than a 17 year old girl. Adolescents aren't really able to make the most rational/logical decisions. And you can see from the beginning how he tried to gain her trust and manipulated her- exactly the way many sex offenders do. It was actually difficult to watch because of how gross he was with the manipulation.
