Did anyone happen to notice Iris trying to save face at the end of the arts and literature round by saying she had ONLY gotten the painting questions wrong? Uh, no, she also got the question about Douglas Adams wrong. Just own it, girl.
I think her focus should perhaps be broadened slightly beyond Shakespeare, especially if she wants to be a writer. Shakespeare is great, but there is a LOT more to the literary canon.
I believe that Iris forgot she had a microphone on when she said that! She knew that she had missed (or 'passed') that question. Just like some of the moms when they go around the corner with their child genius to have a chat - seems they have forgotten that the mike works whether the camera can see you or not!
shareYeah, unless she was just so dazed that she actually believed all three that she missed were art questions. But I think it's more that she wanted to save face re missing a literary question after calling herself a "literary genius." She knows Shakespeare, but not sure what else she knows about literature.
