they all laughed when Sam was drawn first again. I know he wasn't thrilled with being first, but I don't think he would have reacted so strongly if they hadn't laughed at him.

shareI don't think any of them meant it maliciously - and probably anyone else other than Sam would have been okay with a little good natured joking. I knew as soon as the laughter started that Sam was not going to take that well. It is odd that he keeps getting chosen first. But since he keeps scoring well enough to remain in the competition, maybe he should take it as a sign of good luck!
