I'm beginning to dislike Claire as the competition goes on. When they show her smirking when another contestant gets a wrong answer - not cute. I realize it could be editing but something tells me she is actually doing this.

Yes I noticed that nasty smirk on her face when someone misses a question. I also don't like the way she skips back to her seat after a perfect score. There's something very Bad Seed-ish about her lol.

They do keep showing Clarie's smirk in reaction to other kids missing questions. How much of that is the producers trying to create that image of her though vs her actually being that obnoxious...?

I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
