Everyone listed Claire, Adrian, and Arnav as their top competition, but nobody cared about Vivek, even though he's been scoring at or near the top since Week 2.
And Sam didn't even clap for him like everyone else did when Vivek scored his second perfect score.
I noticed that too. I wonder if it's because he was so nervous the first week.
I have a soft spot for him. I love how he's shaken off those nerves and he seems to be a nice kid. Not to mention, his folks seem to be pretty cool too.
Yeah, he's also the youngest kid in the competition. Sam is 12, and he often seems way more babyish thank Vivek.
shareI like Vivek and his parents, but he always makes me nervous for him when he wrinkles up his nose every time he's asked a question. It makes me think he isn't going to know the answers. I hope he can overcome this habit as an adult, because it will make him seem less confident in his decisions in a business setting. That may be why so many of the kids don't see him as a threat now. Even though he ends up scoring in the top, their lasting impression is of how unsure of himself he seemed on stage.
On a side note: Vivek's baby sister is an absolute doll! She's one of the cutest babies I've ever seen.
I love Vivek! Now that the number of competitors is whittled down and we can see who the real challengers are, I am rooting for Vivek. He is the youngest and so his success to this point is more impressive. He appears as one of the more emotionally stable (he has nerves but not anxiety to "perform" and always be on top like some of the others), and his parents are the only normal ones of the entire bunch! It looks like next week will be a challenge for Vivek, but there are a couple of others who are going to struggle as well. I hope he makes it through.
And yes, Vivek's baby sister is adorable!
I like Vivek, and I think his dad is adorable. He has a perpetual smile on his face! Vivek looks just like him.
