Adrian will grow up to be unbearable

He such a pretentious kid with a weird attachment to his mom. His prom list grading women was gross.

I don't know, I thought it was cute tonight how he said, "Chancellor is a brilliant man." Hilarious. He truly is a 40-year-old in a 10-year-old's body.

I absolutely love Adrien, he's my favorite, and I think he has a great relationship with his mom. I was taken aback by his wanting to choose a prom date based on intelligence tests. He's only 10, so he will be fortunate if ANY girl in his class will go with him. When he gets a little older, he'll learn that personality is as important as intellect.

It was a little strange, but at least he didn't put looks at the top of his list.

His mother gives him one day off a year. Come on. Adrian is ten let him be a kid . Life is to short. She is pushing him way to hard and he is going to hate her when he grows up.

Too bad he isn't Orthodox Jewish, he would get one day off a week. Really, the way he was talking about hiding that one day a year back in his head made me really sad. I want to ask his mother why she's robbing her son of having a chidhood. He only has a few years left of it. Take him to an amusement park, let him play video games with other kids, let him go to the movies, throw him a party and let him get into a food fight. He'll never have these
years back, and neither will you.

Having time off is important not just for children but for adults as well. It actually replenishes the brain and promotes creativity, critical thinking and strong performance in school and on the job. Numerous studies have shown this to be the case.

Believing it's best to raise kids as robots with an extremely scheduled lifestyle that includes zero downtime to think their own thoughts, use their imaginations through play, explore and create is just bad science.

My mother allowed each of her kids to take one day off from high school each year for whatever reason. My junior year I never did it because I kept waiting for the ideal situation to arise! LOL! I liked my mom's free day scheme, but it is in no way comparable to Adrian only getting one day of free time per year. Ridiculous.

reply

I'm not a fan of Adrian either.
