I seem to recall during this season's first episode (and during one or two episodes afterwards) that only Adrian appeared in a standalone commercial, playing the piano, etc. And then 9 week later...he's the winner. Hmmm. Well, thanks Lifetime, for telegraphing the ultimate winner of the competition (which was shot last summer) during THE VERY FIRST EPISODE.

I guess next season, I can just pay attention during the commercial breaks in the first episode, and when I see one of the competitors featured prominently, I'll know he or she is the ultimate winner and I can save myself the trouble of watching the last 9 episodes.

Very interesting business model, Lifetime.

Yes, and they did the exact same thing last year with season one's winner Vanya. She was featured prominently in the commercial just like Adrian, and lo and behold, she comes out as the victor. Terrible foreshadowing on lifetime's part. If there is another season, maybe they won't be so shoddy in their promos and editing. Tsk tsk.

Rereading my second paragraph, I probably sounded a bit harsh. To be honest, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching this season and the last. (The show is really very well produced). But, yes, Lifetime needs to rethink this double-gaffe of theirs.

I tried not to think like that after reading that on here, but I would rewatch episodes with my son On Demand a night or two later (I don't let him stay up that late) and my son, knowing I was rooting for Adrian said, "He'll be the winner...his face is on the icon [for the show.]" I didn't realize that till he pointed it out. It's like when CBS sells the Survivor DVD sets and the winner is prominently displayed on the front. Ugh.
