I am very happy for Adrian - I picked him as a favorite from the beginning! I do wish he had more of a normal childhood, but as we can see - he just isn't an average kid.
Did anyone else hear him pronounce 'strategy' as 'stragety'?? I rewound it three times to make sure I was hearing right! He is so smart and so accurate on almost everything, it was kind of cute to see him make a little flub. It made me grin!
Yep, hear that. I've heard him make a few other childish little flubs in speech, too -- it's pretty funny.
Were you surprised he "passed" on one of the very simple math questions in the end? They seem to frame him as a math genius, but he doesn't seem to have a real grasp on "advanced" math (this was just multiplying double-digit positive and negative numbers, and he could use paper and pencil).
Yeah, I caught that flub, too, and chuckled. (But Adrian made up for it when he flatly told Arnav that he wasn't going to tell him about the periodic table question--I laughed so hard.)
But my favorite flub this season had to be Claire's answer, "Saturday Night Live" ('live' rhyming with 'give').
now mispronouncing a word does not cont again. Vivic was robbed.
shareI thought it was so cute how Adrian giggled about "cheeseburger" being put in the place of the word "vaccine." Arnav didn't bat an eye, but somehow I knew it would make Adrian laugh. It shows that he still finds moments to be a child, even in his over-scheduled high school senior life.
