Cant believe i spend 1,42e renting this dvd..

What was the point of that story? Did they cut something in the editing room? The movie doesnt end,just stops.

it's about an impulsive liar who can't stop herself from creating new identities and lying to people. She goes back to the last person she was with before she went on that tangent and broke the pattern of fabrication for a moment, but ultimately couldn't stop herself or her lifestyle. he dodged a bullet, she is stuck in her illness.

i found this movie pointless also. if there was some sort of message this film was meant to convey, i didn't get it.

it's not a happy ending for her. she's stuck in her condition. He on the other hand learns to live for the moment, not be stuck in his job, take a chance.

i understood the plot just fine. my point is that if there was an underlying message, it was not evident to me.

it's a movie about sickness. what message were you looking for?
She's got a condition that appears to be interesting and exciting but it actually confines and controls her.
He on the other hand uses the same scenario to free himself. The story was right there in front of you.

I like that explanation also it's like the question. What do you want to be in life? Everything!!!! Could it be a sickness and addiction sure but could be a gift as well.

I'm a bit surprised people are having such trouble with this film. The only thing I can think of that made it hit home for me and not for others is I've seen something like this in real life. It was quite destructive so I can see the dark side of her story as well as the up side of his. I can't see why this film is getting so much shade though. it wasn't that bad at all. it was just a very focused specific story
